Thomas Cup Final 2010 - China V Indonesia

This year, the year of 2010, Malaysia, once again choosen as host for this prestige badminton competition and held at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil. This event held from May 9 - 16 and its only 8 days to catch the excitement. My friend helped me bought ticket online as I unable to buy RM 73 seating. Therefore, we for RM 53 seating. We were watching the final game and it was awesome with Kuan Ming, Pei Chuen, Mi Zhen, Teng Joon and of course, and Me. 

The game was started at 1400 hour but I reached there around 1330. I saw lot stall that selling t-shirt with thomas cup logo on it...

When I reached the main entrance, there are big crowd here with lot people were cheering for their teams, but Indonesia supporters are more in numbers. And the day was so hot , make me sweat a lot today...

Before I go in and waiting for my friends, I still able to capture this photo.... seem chubby my face .... And Mi Zhen also watch the first Thomas Cup final as well... Then, when my frriends ready and rush in to the stadium to watch memorable games. go go go ....

The stadium almost jam packed by the supporters... actually quite full for a badminton games....The atmosphere was great, everyone is cheering for their country and some even formed a group and have their flags waving.....

 Actually I like their spirit of sports.... Felt so great to have such supporters come long ways to support their country.... Respect !!!

Then, the first Single start just second after i grab my seat.... Is a side view and at top of the stadium....

This duel is between Lin Dan (CHN) and Taufik Hidayat (INA). But seriuosly, Lin Dan is just too great for Taufik. But Taufik did played good game as well.

Lin Dan walked to China team and celebrate with them after he won the duel. The match consist of two set and done in 47 minutes. Definitely, he will be world ranking No. 1 again, no doubt of this...

Then rest time of two minutes, I go take photo with my friends.

Then Second match is about to start....It's Double with Cai Yun & Fu Haifeng (CHN) versus Kido & Setiawan Hendra (INA).....Can see lot of smashing ....

 This was not easy game for CHN player, INA player did performed well and force into third set before CHN finally sealed the winner. Shots above is the last smash of the game and win the game. This game was great and I did shout a lot .... Its damn excited.... no doubt of it ...

Then comes the 3rd match, another Single match between Chen Jin (CHN) and Santoso Simon (INA). Chen Jin into this game 3rd world ranking, so what do you think? And he's at his best for the moment...

And Chen Jin won this match as well, and therefore, China is the champion for this Thomas Cup edition. Below are photos that other China team mates rush into the court to have their celebration.... Congrats, China...

Then comes the medal and trophy presentation.... A lot of reporters have been buzzing that area to capture great moments....

First Runner Up : Indonesia

Second Runner Up : Malaysia and Japan

Before I left the stadium, Im able to capture this photo.... Its great, like a gathering here, I been knowing Kuan Ming, Teng Joon and Choe Khuen since very small little kid. Happy to see you all here today ...

Overall, I like today's match as well as the atmosphere here. Its much more better to watch on the idiot box, quite old nickname for television. In the nutshell, I would come again if Malaysia will be the host again.

One Great Nite At i-City, Shah Alam

When I was first time to heard this place was back to earlier this year before the CNY. But this city has been opened since 2007. After that, I alway planned to come over here to see the beautiful light. This city is a new developing city where all the IT company will built here as well as some big factory.

'Till then, May 8th, I planned to come here to have a look. I came with MZ this evening too... Earlier in the late evening, there was a rain here and make the field is slippery and muddy where causes our shoes is totally dirty...

We reach here quite early, around 1920 and park at empty car park... Thought no one come tonight.... But actually not.....After parked my car, we walked down to the destination point, the sky still bright and not fully dark yet....

A little castle here... but not for long, and then it shut down due of power faulty.... Therefore, I only managed to captured this one....

Then we go into a shop-look-liked where have lot of lights decoration in there...

Here comes the CNY scenery....

Seem I like releasing some kind of powers?

Missing someone to sit at the empty chair.... I so lonely here ....

Am I looked like a Squirrel or just like a dumb guy here? hehe ...

Now we reached on other part, got a lot of small trees here.... Unfortunately, the floor is wet.... Unable to walk too near them.... what a miss !!!

From here, we can see lot car are coming here and have to traffic crawl around 500m before can reach the car park... Actually we just reached earlier and not no one come.... Anyway, its lucky that we came in earlier to avoid the jam here ...

Here's all the photo for this trip in this beautiful evening. This ideal was great and can attract lot of people from local and tourist. I saw lot of tourist buses was park along the road. Since there are lot lights on everyday, this will eventually contribute to the global warming as these light will actually provide lot of heat... That's I felt so hot when i at this place even after raining. But then, I will still recommend people to come here to have look. This City of Lights is a place to visit and not to miss out in your trip schedule.
